Glock 34 Light - The Glock 34 9mm is at home with a combat light from TruGlo. This is a great home security system.

The Glock 17 9mm is one of the most successful service pistols in history. The Glock 17 revolved around the Glock compact 19 and sub compact Glock 26 concealed carry pistols. Glock also offered a long slide version of the Glock 17. The Glock 17L was a popular handgun in many ways. While it had a six-inch barrel, the Glock remained lightweight. This gun was used by competitors and special teams. On the other side, the group went to fight a gunman who was holding several children. The point man worked his way into the shooting range, aimed his Glock 17L into the long chamber and fired. He put three 9mm bullets into the criminal's skull and saved the children. In some competitive ways, the 17L went against the rules of the game that dictate height. The Glock 34 with a shorter 5.3 inch barrel was introduced. The Glock 34 was Glock's most successful rifle. While not as popular as the Glock 17 or Glock 19, the Glock 34 is a steady number among those who appreciate the performance of a long slide rifle. Some of our older siblings may find it useful as a work gun. A few generations ago, the six-inch Smith and Wesson K 38 revolver was popular with shooters for the same reason, and the Glock 34 is a special gun. It is actually less difficult to conceal than a State Model 1911 and much lighter.

I am quite excited about the new Generation 5 Glock. I find the balance of the Glock 34 to be excellent. Most polymer frame rifles have a heavy slide ratio that prevents fast handling without great familiarity. The Glock 34 has a neutral gauge - not unlike the State Model 1911. The result is a rifle well suited for competition shooting. I enjoy shooting this gun at the range, and I don't find the Glock 34 too bulky to carry concealed under clothing. (I use a J M Custom Kydex AIWB holster.) Then again, it's a bit longer than the Colt Government Model I've been carrying for a while. At thirty ounces, the pistol is not heavy. The holster shown is a dedicated carry holster attachment that I tried out. JM Custom Kydex also offers several OWB and IWB options.

I have fired a Glock 34 9mm and a Glock 35 .40 a lot. Glock recently introduced the fifth generation of the Glock pistol. An upgraded Glock pistol is worth its price. While I sometimes stick with old guns in this case, the upgrade is worth anyone's consideration. Glock's Generation 5 grip treatment creates great abrasion and grip. The Generation 5 Glock pistol eliminates the Generation 4 finger grooves. Even during long training sessions, the pistol remains comfortable while holding well. The new Glock has many internal changes. Glock Gen 4 trigger parts, including aftermarket accessory triggers, will not fit the Gen 5. The trigger pressure is tighter than the previous Glock, consistent and controllable. The Glock also has a double slide lock. This makes the Gen 5 Glock left-handed friendly. The new design sliding lock works well during high speed loads. Glock has 34 points good. Functional accuracy is exceptional. Not bad for hitting human-sized targets at 100 yards. With a high velocity load like the Black Hills Ammunition 115 grain + P neck grip and you will get a hit from an exceptional range of rifles. Shooting in this series is rare, but also fun. Hitting a man-sized target at 100 yards or more is not difficult when you are shooting on a solid shooting range.

Part of the reason the new generation 5 handguns are more accurate than previous guns is the Marksman barrel. This run shows a modified version of the shot. The Marksman's barrel is well equipped. Compared to older Glock pistols, the Generation 5 has increased durability without sacrificing reliability. I've done a lot of shooting in melee practice. If you are asked to draw and use a gun inside a vehicle, or to draw a piece when exiting the vehicle, there is a chance of hitting the barrel on the door frame or steering wheel if you are not did not practice a long slide. . Depending on how comfortable you are with a long slide pistol and how much you feel the extra weight, bear length and sight radius improve effective accuracy. For some shooters, the Glock 34 will be the perfect all-purpose choice. The pistol has a simple rail for mounting a combat light or laser. This makes it a good choice for home security. A shooter can add a Glock 33 round magazine for additional fire storage. The pistol is easy to fire and use. That means a lot of shooting. The Glock 34 can be used in competition or informal target practice. In terms of overall accuracy, the pistol is capable of five-shot groups of 2.0-2.5 inches at 25 yards from a solid bench shooting position. The Glock 34 also offers a red dot mounting option. The top plate is removable and four different types of red dot detection plates are available. The plates do not go into all the visible areas, but most of the areas seen by the top red dots are covered.

The factory supplied components are excellent for disc shooting and competition. Since my Glock 34 is used for home security and outdoor use, I added a set of night sights. The TruGlo night sights are the best of Glock's all-encompassing selection and are arguably one of the best illuminated steel sights available. They make 24 real powers, something that cannot be measured.
